Pink is her daughter Willow’s biggest supporter.
On Tuesday, Aug. 27, the “So What” singer, 44, shared a few behind-the-scenes moments of her Summer Carnival Tour via social media, which included a surprise stop at the Democratic National Convention on Aug. 22.
Willow, 13, joined Pink onstage as the mother-daughter duo sang the star’s 2017 hit “What About Us” before Vice President Kamala Harris delivered her history-making nomination acceptance speech.
But not before the teen received a positive pep talk from her mom before hitting the stage!
“Just do your thing. Whatever you don’t sing, I will,” Pink told Willow backstage during a sweet and comforting moment just before the pair were introduced at the DNC.
“It’s going to be brilliant, OK? I’ll be ready,” she assured her daughter. Seconds later, a stagehand directed the singers and their crew to “go, go, go” and they began to walk out.
“It’s been a busy few weeks 😮💨😎,” Pink captioned the Instagram carousel, which included other Summer Carnival Tour stops.
And Willow is no stranger to performing onstage with her mother. Last summer, the two sang their single, “Cover Me in Sunshine” on the first night of Pink’s Summer Carnival 2023 Tour, just days after her 12th birthday.
