Pink is getting candid about her daughter’s decision to shave her head.
In a fan TikTok recorded at a New Zealand show for her Summer Carnival Tour, the mom of two spoke about her 12-year-old daughter Willow’s recent decision to shave her head.
“I told her, I made the mistake of complimenting her beautiful long hair and so she shaved it off,” said the singer with a laugh.
“So contrary to popular belief, it was not my idea. I was living vicariously through my children that have hair.”
Over the weekend, the singer shared a hilarious video on her Instagram highlighting the differences between daughter Willow and son Jameson, who she shares with husband Carey Hart, 48.
The video begins with Willow singing on stage next to Pink, then panning to show her son Jameson, 7, sitting backstage with his head fully tilted back with a water bottle stuck in his mouth.
“First born vs second born,” the mom of two wrote across the video.
At the end of February, Pink’s daughter Willow debuted her freshly buzzed head when the mother-daughter duo met Australian national team soccer player Lydia Williams backstage at the singer’s concert in Canberra, Australia.
In one snap, Pink and her daughter posed together, each holding up a purple soccer jersey that was gifted to them by Williams, 35.
“Thank you @lydsaussie13 for presenting me and Willow with our very own @Matildas goalkeeper jerseys ⚽️,” Pink wrote in the caption.
The singer has had daughter Willow onstage before, with the preteen joining her mom during a concert last year. The two performed the song “Cover Me In Sunshine” together on the first night of Pink’s Summer Carnival 2023 Tour in June.
“So proud of Willz to get up on stage w/ mama @pink !!!!! Must be a surreal moment for mama to have w/ her lil girl on stage 😢,” Hart proudly wrote following the performance in a post.
